Inspired by old Indian havelis, Saanj Mahal brings together carved wood, intricate artwork, brass diyas, brass bells in one statement piece.
The solid teakwood frame gives the piece its character, with detailed hand carving adding depth throughout. At the centre, a wooden base holds a composition of Indian-inspired artwork, printed on wooden fiberboard with a laminated finish. Brass diyas, brass bells complete the piece, bringing in just the right touch of traditional detail.
At 40 inches wide × 52 inches high, Saanj Mahal is intentionally large. It is made for a wall where it can take centre stage, a living room, entrance, dining area or a large passage wall. The scale gives it presence from across the room, while the finer details reveal themselves as you come closer.
